The International Flooring Sciences Resource Center is established to serve as a source of timely, valuable, peer reviewed technical information on a range of subjects related to flooring sciences of interest to the international community. In the modern age of global business and rapid communication and decision making, the Center is the primary site where technical experts and interested stakeholders turn for creditable information related to flooring and related sciences. Areas of technical interest include:

• human response and ergonomics;
• environmental attributes;
• product formulation and chemistry;
• cleaning science; and
• product and materials recovery, recycling, and reuse.

The Center invites and considers for publication all science or technical papers, reports, and articles that are properly formatted and suitable for scientific peer review as indicated in the Publications Submissions guideline. The Center's various publications are not intended to be used as an advertisement forum or market platform for products and services.

The Center publishes current technical papers and maintains the International E-Journal of Flooring Sciences which contains peer-reviewed scientific papers, reports, and articles, and will be published on an annual basis.
